New to the area does anyone know what beach animals are allowed in?

Hey Lakerman! Unfortunately, there are no dedicated dog beaches in Laguna Beach...However, read on for a summary of Laguna Beach's laws pertaining to pets at the beach or in public places. Since you're new to the area and have a pet, it's good for you to know.

Dogs, accompanied by at least one person and tethered to that person by a leash not to exceed six feet in length are allowed on all public beaches in Laguna Beach except between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. from June 1st to September 16th.

There is a dedicated dog park in Laguna Beach - It's called the Laguna Beach Dog Park (http://lagunabeach.com/points/dogpark/index.html) and it's located on Laguna Canyon Road, near El Toro Road.;)
