Laguna Beach Beach Hotels

What are people's favorite "on the beach" hotels in Laguna? I want to stay right on the beach for a romantic getaway with my fiance, and want everything to be just right!!

Heard good things about these three accommodations:

La Casa del Camino (http://lagunabeach.com/lacasadelcamino/index.html) - MTV has filmed here!

Surt & Sand (http://lagunabeach.com/surfandsand/index.html)- Luxurious!

The MOST luxurious would be the Montage Resort, in the south end of town. It's not really walkable to downtown, but it's fabulous and has a beautiful beach of its own.

The CASA LAGUNA INN is right on Main Beach and right downtown.

Definitely agree with your Montage assessment, however, the information about Casa Laguna Inn is incorrect. Maybe you were thinking of another hotel :confused: Anyway, Casa Laguna Inn is about a mile and a 1/2 from downtown and Main Beach. It's not on the ocean - it's across the street. The closest beach to Casa Laguna Inn is Victoria Beach - about 2 blocks away.

oooh, you're right. Hmm... I'm trying to think of the name of the one that's right at the NORTH end of Main Beach... it was redeveloped about 10 years ago and is such a perfect location nestled between Main Beach and Heisler Park... Maybe it's "The Inn at Laguna Beach" or something like that??

A great Main Beach location would be Hotel Laguna (http://lagunabeach.com/hotellaguna/index.html), or, a few blocks south, La Casa del Camino (http://lagunabeach.com/lacasadelcamino/index.html).
