Does anyone know if there is any safe, decent, lower middle income, retirement places to live or buy in Laguna Beach? I could afford to purchase something for around $50,000.00 or rent for no more than $1,000.00 a month.

Off-hand, the best I can think of is Laguna Woods (Leisure World) - rentals. It was voted Best Retirement Community in Orange County, Southern California by the Orange County Register. Call (949) 597-4369
