Laguna Beach... HELP

HI me and a friend are coming to california in september and was thinking of driving down to Laugna beach during our trip and are looking for somewhere to stay for 3 nights, somewhere reasonably priced and close to the beach and nightlife... can anyone help?

September is a great time to visit Laguna Beach! After Labor Day, both prices and crowds drop, but the wonderful weather and exquisite beaches, galleries, dining and nightlife for which Laguna Beach is known remain. Though there are many wonderful hotels in Laguna, given the criteria you've indicated, I'd recommend La Casa del Camino: http://www.lagunabeach.com/lacasadelcamino or Pacific Edge Hotel on Laguna Beach: http://www.lagunabeach.com/pacificedge - you can't go wrong with either!

Thanks for your response i have some more questions though if that is ok... can you tell me what bars and clubs you recommend in the area? Places to eat?
