I am taking a Vacation to Laguna Beach at the end of this week. I was wondering what there is to do for 20 somethings, as well as some moderately priced ocean view restraunts for lunches and dinner. Are there any specific things in Orange County/Laguna Beach that you recommend to sight see? Also we will be driving from LAX to Laguna, is it best to take the 405 and fight the traffic or take the highway along the ocean?

Thank You :)

Various DJs spinning dance, hip-hop and R&B hits every Fri.& Sat. Teens and up. 8pm.

Music & Dancing at Club M, 680 South Coast Highway, Laguna Beach / Guest DJs spinning the best in hip-hop, Top 40, R & B and Old Skool; Go-Go Girls dancing all night; $10 cover charge; Doors open @ 8:30pm; Age 21 and older; 949-497-5646

Getting from LAX to Laguna Beach - Your best bet is Take 405 (and not PCH) - Just don't travel during rush hour. Try to make the trip between 10am and 2pm -or- after 8pm.

Where To Dine:

Splashes at the Surf and Sand Resort: http://lagunabeach.com/surfandsand/index.html

K'ya (formerly known as Savoury's): http://lagunabeach.com/dine/savourys/index.html
K'ya is located in Hotel La Casa del Camino (http://lagunabeach.com/lacasadelcamino/index.html) You can't see the water from the restaurant, however, you can go to their upstairs lounge for drinks and appetizers while enjoying a great ocean view!

Have a wonderful visit!

Also, there is a carpool lane that can be used all the way down to the 133 which takes you to Laguna Beach seaside. It's a 45 minute drive when things are moving but will take an hour and 15 minutes (carpool) during rush hour and two hours in the regular lanes.
