Hi,

I'm from England (as you may well have guessed) and am hoping to come over to the laguna beach area with a mate next summer, as a break from our studying.

We will probably want to rent a property, and have a reasonably large budget ($3000-$10,000 per month there or thereabouts) It will preferably be near the beach, and as close to town as possible.

What do you suggest?

Jake

Hello there Englishman_14!

Take a look at Pacific Edge House (scroll down this page: http://lagunabeach.com/vacationvillage/ ).

It's situated in a fantastic location - right *ON* the beach -and- near the heart of the village!

Hi Englishman_14

I am also an Englishman :) I went to Laguna Beach in April this year, and stayed for two weeks in the following private rental...

I thoroughly recommend it. It is about 1 or 2 miles from the main shops, and it is up a steep hill, but the views more than make up for it. Also, because it's not smack-bang in the centre of town, you save yourself quite a bit of money on the rent.

Here are a couple of pictures that we took of the property (better pictures than you'll find on the web link posted above):

Hi Lotty

Unfortunately it's quite difficult to understand what you are trying to say.

I can't afford to go back to Laguna Beach at the moment, but I might go back in a year or two, with my girlfriend.

The Kite House accommodation cost approximately $3,300 (£1,600) per week when I stayed there, i.e. $6,600 (£3,200) for two weeks.

youre right. Hmm... Im trying to think of the name of the one thats right at the NORTH end of Main Beach... it was redeveloped about 10 years ago and is such a perfect location nestled between Main Beach and Heisler Park... Maybe its "The Inn at Laguna Beach" or something like that??
