My family loves to visit and we always use to book them at By the Sea Inn in Laguna Beach - http://lagunabeach.com/bytheseainn/index.html. Its just a few minutes from our place. The inn was closed and went through a renovation so we used another hotel in Laguna Hills. When the Inn opened the rates went up close to $100. :eek: They did a great job with the remodel, but at the end of the day its a nice looking motel. All these Laguna Beach hotels are just getting greedy when it comes to cost of the room. Everything in Laguna Beach is close to $200 and for a few nights stay its adds up. Its hard to find a reasonable place anymore within Laguna Beach unless you want to stay during weekday or the winter.
I booked my folks at a Comfort Inn out in Laguna Hills its inland. There is a drive but they are saving like $100+ each. A weeks stay adds up to be like a the cost of real vacation...
