Hey, Im from Ireland and some friends and I are planning to go to states for 5 months next March and we are trying to decide where we should stay.

Personally I want to stay in Laguna, so I could use some help finding info on Laguna to help convince them it's perfect.

Basically would Laguna be a good place to stay for 4 months?

We'd be aged between 20 - 22, so would there be a good number of people around our age in Laguna? Whats the night life like, are there clubs in Laguna or would we have to go outside Laguna for clubs.

Any info on like long term renting or leasing a car for while we're there?

Thing like Surf lessons and scuba lessons, would there be a good to do while we're there??

Would there be a good selection of shops and restaurants?

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

As far as restaurants, I would recommend Brussels Bistro and Ocean Avenue Restaurant & Brewery. Brussels Bistro has great food and a DJ every Friday and Saturday night!
Here is a link to their menu: http://www.lagunabeach.com/dine/brusselsbistro/index.html

Ocean Avenue Restaurant & Brewery has a wide selection of their award winning handcrafted beer and premium cocktails. They also have a DJ and a full service restaurant. Here is their contact info: 237 Ocean Avenue
Laguna Beach, CA 92651 - (949)497.3381

Since you\'ll be staying in Laguna Beach for a few months, you\'re better off off renting a house. Contact Dani Purcell: www.lagunabeach.com/homesforrent
