The wording on their ad is very deceptive. "Steps away from the beach" means walk across the street & down stairs to the very secluded cove. "Complimentary breakfast" is a $7 credit per person to eat at their OTHER property 6 BLOCKS AWAY. The pool is tiny & right on the street. Be sure to call these hotels to make sure you are not surprised when you arrive.

Thank you for taking the time to review Laguna Beach Inn. We apologize for any confusion you experienced before your stay at Laguna Beach Inn, our hope is that we always exceed our guest's expectations.

In response to the pool location, yes, our heated tropical pool is located on the street side of the hotel, however, it is surrounded by palm trees and banana palms for lush, serene, privacy for our guests. The pool area is also piped with music for a relaxing, enjoyable day in the sun. You may also enjoy ocean views from the pool deck, as woods cove is located approximately 100 steps from the Inn.

Woods cove is unique, as it is a secluded cove and offers some of the best snorkeling and tide pools Laguna Beach has to offer. If you decide to visit the beach, we are happy to offer you complimentary beach towels, snorkeling gear (upon availability), bamboo mats, boogie boards, and beach chairs, upon request. Though Woods Cove is secluded, you may also access other beaches by simply crossing the rocks and tidepools.

Laguna Beach Inn is known for the great value and exceptional service. Yes, we are the only Inn to offer wine and cheese hour as well as a full gourmet breakfast to our guests at an economical rate. The breakfast is served a quick 6 blocks from the Inn at our sister property, hotel la casa del camino, in k'ya restaurant. The value we offer each of our guests is $7 per person, however, over 90% of the items on the menu are $7 or less. You may choose anything from a veggie scramble, crab scramble, or breakfast sandwich, to whole wheat pancakes or stuffed french toast, and the list goes on! The breakfast is one of our guests favored experience, as the breakfast is delightful and the guests get to enjoy the full dining experience.

In addition, during or after your breakfast, we invite you to enjoy the 360 degree views of the ocean & Laguna Beach, from the rooftop lounge which, along with k'ya, is located at our sister property. Guests get to experience both hotels and breathtaking views at a fraction of the price.
