Sample Itinerary
We begin at our downtown location, don a helmet, water and power bar, and off we go to Bluebird Canyon, deep in nature and home to the 1932 Olympic training village. We'll pass Bluebird Canyon Farms, Laguna's only commercial organic farm. We'll also see the first zero emissions, straw bale house.
Then it's off to the Oak Street neighborhood, home to charming turn of the century California Craftsman cottages - the summer dwellings of Laguna's founding artist community. These homes have been lovingly maintained and landscaped, and some have Transition Laguna community gardens.
Next we cruise through the downtown village and its assortment of shops and cafes. We wind up through the neighborhood of North Laguna, where we'll see the amazing Pyne Castle, and many dramatic contemporary homes perched on the hill.
Depending on the group, we may pedal up to the Dartmour lookout, offering the most panoramic view in Laguna. Then it's over to the beach, where we'll stop at Crescent Bay Park, with an amazing coastal overlook of Seal Rock, home to a colony of California Sea Lions. From there we'll wind through the dramatic oceanfront homes in North Laguna, past Fisherman's Cove, home to La Vida Laguna kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.
We continue to hug the ocean through Heisler Park, a gorgeous public green space, filled with native flora and the famous Rockpile surf spot. Finally we'll cruise past the Laguna Museum of Art, back through downtown and to our starting point, where you'll arrive pleasantly pooped but jazzed about the beauty of Laguna.
