THE BEACHES OF LAGUNA
The entire coastline of Laguna Beach has been declared a "Marine
Life Refuge" to protect and preserve the rich variety of marine
life forms for all to observe and enjoy. Tide pools are not to
be disturbed in any way. People may fish (except in Heisler Park
Ecological Reserve where fishing is prohibited), but take nothing
else.

HEISLER
PARK ECOLOGICAL RESERVE
A marine reserve located between Heisler
Point, opposite Bird Rock at Main Beach north
to the northern end of Divers Cove. Fascinating tide pools, great
snorkeling and SCUBA diving. Disturb nothing and take nothing. No
fishing of any type.
ALTA LAGUNA PARK
Located at the north end of Alta Laguna Blvd. This park has hiking
trails,a baseball field, tennis courts, a half basketball court,
picnic tables and children's play equipment.
Laguna Beach Dog Park
(AKA "Bark Park") is a fenced park where dogs can run free (dogs
must be leashed at all other parks). Open from dawn to dusk, closed
on Wednesday. Located on Laguna Canyon Road (133) near El Toro Road.
BLUEBIRD PARK

The LBHS Community Pool is a 25-yard pool with showers and lockers
available; it is accessible to the physically challenged. CA State
Law requires patrons who use public pools to shower prior to entering.
Children under the age of 3 years must wear rubber pants or pool
diapers in the pool. Children, age 24 months or younger are admitted
free. Note: Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and
supervised by an adult. The pool may be subject to unscheduled closures
due to water polo and swim competitions/events. Groups of 10 or
more must make reservations at least 7 days in advance to guarantee

The Terrace is located in the middle of some of the best hiking
trails in Orange County. Age suitability is for beginners in
reasonable shape…bring water. A very convenient hike for
Terrace residents starts at Woods End near El Toro and Aliso
Creek Road. The hike is all on a dirt road. From Woods End,
go up to the ridge and turn right. Follow the gravel road down
the other side to the intersection with the Lake Trail then
a few more feet to the Edison Trail to Barbara’s Lake.
